Bowdon v Manchester

2 weeks ago By www.manchesterrugby.co.uk

So it all comes down to our very last game...it's been a great season and with one match to go, we're top of the league!

But...Douglas are hard on our heels. A win with a bonus point at Bowdon would guarantee Manchester promotion with us as winners of South Lancs & Cheshire One. If Douglas get their bonus points with a game in hand however, and we don't get ours, then we will have to play-off against the North Lancs / Cumbria runner-up for promotion.

Manchester travel with a perfect record this year and looking for a 14th successive win. Bowdon have had a good season as well however, particularly at home, and they will make this a very difficult match for us.

Bowdon are attracting their supporters and welcoming us with free admission, guaranteed nice weather, a plentiful supply of beer and a barbecue for all the family - there's even going to be a bouncy castle! This will be a great day for both teams as it's the last league game of the season - please book your place on the supporters' coach with Suzanne if you haven't done so already.
