Champions!
Manchester have been crowned league champions at the end of a 14 game winning streak which ran right up to their last league fixture.
The South Lancs & Cheshire One league title and automatic promotion was clinched in emphatic style with a 21-50 win at Bowdon on Saturday. Douglas kept the pressure on Manchester with a massive 91-12 win against Liverpool St Helens earlier that afternoon, but the required bonus point win to deny Douglas was in the bag by half time. A further three tries were added in the second half as the Manchester players and supporters enjoyed their day in the sun.
Douglas therefore finish second and have earned a promotion play off match against De La Salle to decide who will join Manchester, who are now promoted to North One West for 2017/18.

Manchester's 100% record from before Christmas to the end of the season, with bonus point wins needed from every one of those games to shake off a relentless challenge from Douglas, was incredibly impressive.
