The Mako's Colts team have completed their league games this season and finished second in their league. The lads have done a fantastic job, finishing runners up, and during the course of this it’s worth noting some important points:
• They fulfilled all our fixtures, home and away (in another season where every week teams drop out of the league and fold)
• They gave significant pitch time to all lads permitted within the matchday squad, allowing all players to take an active part and to develop their match experience
• They are the top points scorers in the league – with 375 points
• They have the best points difference in the league – with +69 points difference
The team are also still in the Lancashire Cup and will play in the final of the Trophy on 14th April. Let's hope they bring home some silverware.
