Manchester v Glossop *Saturday 8th April KO 3pm*

1 year ago By www.manchesterrugby.co.uk

Glossop visit this weekend for our First XV's last home game. It's a big game with automatic promotion still in Manchester's hands.

Manchester have secured maximum points in all 10 matches this year, in fact 12 straight wins with only the narrow defeat at Glossop spoiling an 18 match run. That will add some extra spice to this fixture!

The team are already assured of second place with a promotion pay-off, but two more bonus points win would give them the league title. Douglas are poised to take advantage of any slip ups so expect a couple of very competitive games in a tense run in.

Glossop are also on a good run with half a dozen wins and will be hopeful of finishing third in a tight chasing pack with Broughton Park and Bowdon.

The match kicks off at 3pm, admission just £3 for adults to include a match day programme.

Children are free and there is a special invite to all our M&J players, parents and coaches to really get behind our First XV and make this a special match for the club.
