The first quarter was hard fought with Stockport having the majority of the territory, however a break by Manchesters backs gave them the first try which they converted, Stockports forwards continued to battle hard and were rewarded at the end of the quarter when Tobias scored.

Stockport rotated their squad for the second quarter, dispite a consorted effort from Stockport Manchesters backs dominated running in three tries.

Score for the quarter 0 - 17 to Manchester

The Stockport squad was again rotated, Manchesters backs again dominated running in four tries, Stockport rallied towards the end of the quarter and the forwards battled their way to the Manchester line with Ben scoring.

Score for the quarter 5 - 20 to Manchester

For the final quarter the Stockport squad was again rotated, Stockport battled hard but Manchesters backs broke through to score first. Stockport didn't give up and were eventually rewarded when AJ scored, Jamie then converted a difficult kick from out wide. Both sides continued to battle hard but neither side managed to score again.
