Alongside the rugby, players and spectators can look forward to a variety of entertainment over the 3 days. The Festival Marquee, located next to the main pitch, is the best place to grab a beer and watch the live bands, a selection of companies will be on display in the busy Trade Village, the campsite is spacious and conveniently located on the main festival site, and the Heineken Cup Final will be shown live on big screens.

Some of the finest teams and players in world rugby have been seen playing and socialising at the festival in recent years. On the pitch Sale Sharks, Leicester Tigers and Samurai 7s have all entered sides, off the pitch Ben Foden, Phil Greening and Jason Robinson are just some of the big names seen mingling amongst fans.

The festival was created by Marco Vaghetti, who has a strong passion for rugby sevens. Having managed a guest team on the UK sevens circuit for many years, travelled the world visiting the likes of the Hong Kong and Dubai 7s, and spending time travelling around sevens mad Fiji, Marco wants to bring a little bit of rugby sevens fun back to Manchester!
