Great Start to 2015

After an encouraging training session last week, the boys turned up to the tri-club fixture against Ashton-on-Mersey, and Tyldesley, in confident mood, this despite us never previously playing either club at our age group.

Both squads from Manchester played two fixtures, and it was encouraging to see the boys using the skills from the recent coaching sessions.

The squads recorded 2 victories against Ashton-on-Mersey (9 -2 and 7-3) and a win and a loss against Tyldesley (4-3 and 4-6).

On the day total tries scored 24, with number of tries conceded 14.
