Great Squad Performance

Although slightly depleated in numbers, a hardcore of 14 players made the trip down the M56 to play the return fixture against a strong Chester outfit.

The longer than usual journey slightly impacted our start time, but after a brief warm up, the boys were split into 2 squads of 7 and got straight into playing some great rugby.

Our hosts prove strong oppoistion, and like Mancheter adopt the approach of 'non-streaming' teams, with this helped ensure that all matches were very competitive and played in a great spirit.

On the day there were some great performances by Finlay, Joel and Sam Y, although on a day when everyone got stuck in, it is diffcult to pick out individuals.

Thanks should also go to Chester who were happy to provide us with an extra player when Finlay suffered an injury towards the end of the morning session.
