In the first contact game of the season the Tigers set the bar high in terms of pace, passing and purpose against a powerfully built Aldwinian side, whose rucking was on a par with the All Blacks at their best!!
Game 1:
Saw the Tigers take the game to Aldwinians and the coaches wre heartened by the way in which the boys went about their task. On their first ever contact match every one of the Tigers did themselves proud in their commitment to their team mates. The final score being:
Manchester 35v10 Aldwinians
Game2:
More of the same in the second match with the confidence growing by the minute. Aldwinians didn't have an answer to the powerful Manchester runners who could have gone all day long against a solid rucking side without the pace out wide. The game ending:
