Tigers take Warrington to the Wire

The trip to Warrington had been eagerly anticipated as this would give the coaches a good idea of where this young side were in terms of determination to succeed in this new world of contact. Well let me tell you, the Tigers made us proud.

Warrington were able to call on a much bigger squad and fielded two sides to take on the Tigers. The first game was full on with neither side giving an inch and at match end the game was a closely fought victory for Manchester.

The first game took a lot out of the Tigers and though we contested hard throughout the second game, Warrington's fresher legs took their toll and they ran in two tries in each half to finish worthy winners and share the days spoils.
