Manchester come away on top in Congleton

The 29th November took us down to Congleton, the pitches at Manchester were looking bad but we were convinced that Congleton’s would be better….

We eventually arrived and were led over the river to the exposed ‘bog!!’
As previous years they were big lads but ours remained undeterred and gave their hearts out for the morning.

Much to the pleasure of the parents, Congleton were up for a game and we played 3 in total

In game 1, Max Mc set the tone for the morning with the one and only winning try.

The second game was a hard fought match with play at both goal lines, tries from Ciaran and Max assured a draw 2-2.

Game 3 showed more end to end action with Manchester clinching this game 3-2 with tries for Ciaran, Tom Jones and Luke.

Through the morning we had strong games from many in the squad, including Dan Will and Jacob, all of whom are new to the squad.
Over all a successful trip down to Congleton.
