Tough day away at Aldwinians saw Manchester 12s bring nearly every player down for these two Lancashire Cup fixtures. It was great to see everyone getting stuck in and the standout players for the day were Joe in Game 1 against HM with 2 immense tackles out on the wing and Cam, who tackled like a demon throughout the game against Aldwinians, almost scything straight through one of the Winny ball carriers.

Today's totally awesome players were: Che, Connor, Jack, Big Jack, Cam, Eddie, Joker (Joe K), Hanuf, Harrison, H Bomb, Josh, Myles, Nathan, Olly, Bobby, Paul, Max, Joe and Taha.

Next week finds us training at home on Thursday and building on the drill work we have been doing in recent weeks around presenting the ball. Good hands and ball retention is key for this weeks training session with the forwards, whilst the backs must concentrate on decision making on the pitch, especially when given penalty decisions. Then on Sunday we are away at Broughton Park for our last Lancashire Cup outing of the season. We will also be playing Aldwinians again in a triangular Cup competition, so a chance to revenge the narrow defeat of this week. Parking is plentiful but get there early as it can be a long walk from your car and let us know availability by Thursday's training session.
