Manchester moving in the right direction

All 3 matches were played in torrential rain, but the spirit of the games and the physicality from all teams was great to see. Manchester kept up their rebuilding work and competed well in both matches. Winny's tries coming from their powerfully built centre, whilst Broughton relied on their second row to break through our players defensive lines to score their points.

We had a few chances in both games to go over ourselves, only for the opposition to pull off last ditch tackles. Something that we will be focusing on in training this week as we prepare for the return of Sale and Sandbach to Grove Park this coming Sunday.

Plenty of players and supporters required this weekend for our matches on Sunday morning.

Gumshields, a drink and warm clothes are the must have items. See you all on Sunday.
