The last fixture of October '16 & more kind weather- damp underfoot, yet a dry and relatively warm Sunday
During the first quarter the visitors matched the home team - neither team finding a decisive edge.
Early in the second quarter improved handling and strong running put Manchester ahead. A forceful clearance return and close support doubled the Manchester lead.
Waterloo replied with a powerful thrust into the corner to make it 2-1.
Pressure at the end of the 2nd quarter was rewarded, 3-1 at 1/2 time.
In Q3 Manchester's improved movement and handling created scores in both corners, 5-1.
In the 4th quarter two determined runs, made it 7-1.
Whilst opportunities for further improvement were spotted by the eagle eyed coaches, secretly they were pleased by the defensive resilience & team spirit on display.
The ref continues to develop his sense for knowing when & why to blow his whistle. Well done R
