Broughton Park Festival

A wet, grey breezy day did little to dampen Manchester's spirits in the 3 x 30 minute games
Heaton Moor were the first to find out about Manchester's competitive streak. Tacking was tight, runs powerful, scoreline 0-6 HT, FT 0-9.
Sale were next up.Again Manchester ssped to a 0-6 HT lead. The second half was much closer, with Sale making the last 2 scores in a 2-8 game.
Trafford MV provided the 3rd opponents. Manchester scored 6 in the first 15 minute for the 3rd game in a row HT 1-6. 3 more tries were scored in second half. Final score 1-9.

Highlights of the games - some marvelous tackling, very strong running, fine handling, solid teamwork and new names on the score-sheet.
