Manchester U12’s v Trafford MV – Sunday 6th November 2011.

Trafford MV came to Grove Lane with a very experimental team – they had only been playing together for 6 weeks, and put up a great show against a more experienced Manchester side (although we are parading a number of new faces ourselves).
For the record the first game was 7 scores to Nil for Manchester – tries by Ciaran (2), Walshy, James, Sean, Matt G, and long distance sprint to the line by Aiden. The second game was far more competitive with Manchester winning it by 3 scores – Josh F running in 2, and Sean adding the third.
The fact that most of the scores came from the backs tells you what you need to know about this game ……. We passed the ball out!!

Praise too for our new and newish players who all slotted in nicely to the team.
