At Manchester Rugby Club, we are very proud of our Mini, Midi, Juniors, Girls and Colts teams. Our main aim is that we create an environment where our young players can enjoy their rugby and, with the help of a myriad of coaches and willing volunteers, our M&J section continues to go from strength to strength. Your support of our Festival helps us to continue to deliver playing opportunities for our youngsters and so supports the long term future of our game – THANK YOU!

The Manchester Mini & Midi Festival has become an important part of many clubs’ early season programme, allowing us to benchmark and observe the development of our fledgling squads. Matches are always competitive and the standards of play invariably high as we again host County champions from Cheshire, Lancashire and Yorkshire. This year well over 1500 players from more than 30 different clubs will compete over the two weekends. With this in mind, we ask everyone (players, coaches, parents and spectators) to spare a thought for those that don’t leave with cups and medals. We appreciate the efforts of all the players taking part - your encouragement is important if we are to keep them playing and enjoying their rugby on days like this.

Once again we are grateful for the continuing support of this event by Land Rover. We also appreciate the support of Sale Sharks and their players – as always, your attendance helps to make this a special day for our young players.
