After a long day and injury delays, Manchester u14s sevens squad took the 2013 title against Droitwich. The day started with a 54-0 win against Ormskirk, 43-7 against Wilmslow who went onto win the plate beating Stockport and Ormskirk. Fylde who had impressed with their pace outside couldn't handle our pace and the pool stages finished with a 52-7 win. Egremont A and colourful language couldn't stop the momentum and accuracy of the squad, 44-7 set up a semi final against Rugby St Andrews and a 2 hour wait. The semi final got started with lads a bit rusty or just stiff but soon hit their strap, a 44-5 score line setup a final against another midlands team from Droitwich. Only a 15 minute wait and we started the final against a big physical looking side, Manchester produced a performance worthy of any final and Droitwich played their part but couldn't stop the tempo and continuity of Manchester producing some of their best movement of the day, 43-19 meant another trophy for the cabinet.
Well done lads you deserve the title and played some fantastic rugby on the day
