A dry overcast Remembrance Sunday in Cumbria.
Manchester faced some really strong teams and provided stern tests for all opponents.
The 1st game was a very close encounter with neighbours, Stockport, who ran-out slender 2-3 winners.
West Park Leeds next, and as the 0-1 scoreline indicated, little separated the sides. Solid defences offered very few chances to touch-down. At the final whistle both teams knew they'd been given a thorough examination.
Manchester managed to cross the line 5 times against Bowden, in a more free-flowing game, whilst conceding only once after a dash down the line.
In the final game, against Morpeth, our U12s bettered the 2 tries conceded, running out 3-2 winners.
Great thanks to everyone, who was involved in hosting a splendid festival of rugby for the U12s, at Sedbergh school. We deeply appreciated the efforts of Jason Duffy and his team.
