The Under 12's hosted round 2 of the Lancashire Waterfall, and had pool games against Tyldesley and Eccles. We had some first's in the tournament including our first win, our first hattrick (well done Freddie) and a notable try by Charlie Torkington (spurred on by the half time incident that wont be named).

Each week, a different player is selected to captain the U12’s. Part of the captain’s responsibilities is to write a report of the game. This week’s captain was Lucas and this is his captains report:

This week we played the next round of the Waterfall Cup. We had a good number of players which meant we had subs, which made a big difference.

Although we lost the first match 8-1, it gave us a great warm up and got our heads in the game. Some good play and team spirit even though the opponents were strong.

In the second match we had our A-game on and made some great tries including by Freddie and Samee, enabled by fast pace, excellent tackles and team work all leading to a brilliant win 8-2. I won't mention that Chaz got a punch to the face from an opposition team player along the way!
