Wednesday evening's final game of this season's Merit League was a thriller, just edged by Tyldsley.
Despite having the benefit of most of the territory and possession, Sandbach/Manchester just lost out to the league winners by two tries to one.
Congratulations to Tyldsley/Waterloo/LSH on a well deserved Merit League title. Sandbach/Manchester/Northwich had them looking over their shoulders all season and are confirmed as this season's runners up.
